Looks nice, works great
I had the Belkin TuneBase FM for iPod Mini previously and that worked well in my car so, I forced that to work with the Nano until this came out.

As far as integration with the Nano, it is excellent. It uses the Nano display to show what station you are transmitting to (without any software installation). It also automatically pauses and plays the Nano as you turn the car on and off.

I love it!!!!

It also includes a volume booster to increase the output level to your receiver. This helps in that I don't need to turn the car stereo up so loud. I was told it also makes the signal stronger, but I am not really sure about that.

It does not work as well in my husbands car, but no FM transmitter has worked well in his car as the Antenna is so far away and small. My car has a real antenna.

I think all FM transmitters have their problems as far as reception in some areas and for some cars, but if your car works okay with FM transmitters, this one should work well also. I consider it on par or better as far as reception than other FM transmitters I have used.

It is cute, small and has good sound quality.

Works better than I expected.
After hearing horror stories about FM transmitters I was hesitant about getting this. My wife's new Pontiac Vibe did not have any other inputs so FM was the only choice. It works fine with decent FM sound quality. The ability to choose up to four specific frequencies to memory is a big plus. It is a good size and fits the Nano perfectly. The flexible arm is handy for getting the Nano in the right position for viewing. I also tested this in my Volkwagen Passat with good results. A little more expensive than other FM options but this has the best design and functionality of them all.

Non Compatable
I have several friends that have had similar items in the last few years that have worked nicely. I'm sure this is a great product. Having said that... this product is NOT and I repeat IS NOT compatable with the new ipod nanos. The new Ipod Nanos are slightly wider than the original and will not connect to this product. I really hope amazon puts up a warning soon and I will do my best to try to get that done. Again this does not work with the 4GB and I assume the 8GB nano as well so do not buy it unless you have the older model Nano.
