Poor craftmenship
This watch does not have a good finish on it. I had ordered four of them for groomsmen gifts and all four of them had scratches on the surface or had small bumps. The wooden box is pretty cheap too and it has made in china stickers all over it. I would not recommend buying this for anyone that you like.
Poor Quality-Not a Functioning Timepiece
I struggled with one of these for several days before giving up. It is of such poor mechanical quality that it is virtually impossible to set it so as to synchronise the time, day, date and moon phase settings correctly.
The few times that I did manage to manipulate it so to get it set correctly, it immediately went out of synch again.
An interesting conversation piece, but useless as a functioning pocket watch.
Great watch at a great price.
I promptly received my watch in the time specified but was at first disappointed to find the directions included did not match this model. I emailed the situation to Mall of USA and they immediately responded back and said they had contacted the Colibri Co. in London. They made them aware of the fact that the directions in all the boxes were incorrect. Colibri faxed them the correct directions, and they in turn, faxed me the correct directions immediately, as well as mailed me a hard copy of them. Mall of USA was very prompt and courteous in their service, and the watch is great. Even the wooden box is beautiful.
