What your grandfather wore...
...and for a good reason. Pinaud products are now considered dime and drug store stuff, but they still shine. Most known for Clubman (the barber shop scent) and Lilac Vegetal, Lime Sec is an almost out of circulation scent.

Too bad, because it's a classic citrus aroma that fades to a subtle spice even when splashed on liberally, which I recommend. For those of us Pinaud fans, Lime Sec is hard to find and may even be out of production so if you can find it buy it. You'll be glad you did (and so will your grandfather!)

The Classic for the Landed Gentry in You
This, as is the case with all Pinaud products, ranks beyond amazing. I highly recommend the Lime Sec Cologne to any and all; and, NO, I do not work for Pinaud Ltd. I've been using Pinaud's classic line of fragrances, tonics, and talc for many a year, although I myself was not alive in the 1950s, much less in the 1800s, when Pinaud first made his mark. I've been using the Edouard Pinaud name as my on-line moniker for at least 10 years now. It is something of a joke, but also registers my true admiration for the Pinaud line.

I represent a younger generation that knows quality when it sees and smells it. You need not pay $40 to $50 for designer fragrances that are all, more or less, variations on one or two themes: banal and predictable. The Lime Sec Cologne, as its name suggests, offers a dry crisp citrus aroma, that I truly love. It is clean and refined, and smells like nothing else out there. After my morning shave, or just freshening up midday, I am often torn between the Pinaud Lime Sec and the Pinaud Citrus Musk. (I am currently out of the Classic Pinaud Clubman, but that will be remedied in due time). Whichever bottle I choose, my day starts well, or receives a fresh burst of creativity, not unlike a cup of expresso, and the application of this fine product represents one of the high points, morning, afternoon, or eve.

Don't be deceived by other products: Ed. Pinaud is the bomb, tailored and handcrafted with the landed gentry in mind. It is original. You will be, too.

If you are here reading this review, you, more than likely, already know the quality that only Ed. Pinaud can provide. If you have stumbled here by mistake, purchase this product. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. (Neither will your lady). I only wish they still offered these colognes in glass bottles. That would be beyond smooth.

Good Summer Scent
Lime Sec has a refreshing crisp citrus scent that blends in well with hot summer days and lasts a long time.
As with all the Pinaud scents, this is a great value.
My favorite Pinaud scent is Clubman Special Reserve but this one is a quality product.
