Great Gift! So Slender it fits in purses great!
This is a great size of umbrella. I bought one from my boss who travels alot. She said she loved the way it fits in her laptop bag without take up too much room (alot of travel umbrellas are too chuncky). She showed it to her elderly mother, who loved it so much that she gave me the money to buy her one also (bought at samsonite outlet). It slides in a purse easily too. I think I may need to buy one for myself. :-)

One was not Enough
I originally bought this umbrella at Target over a year ago. I loved it because it was light, skinny binny, and I could keep it in my small purse. Another great feature was that even though it was small, when opened up, it was a nice size. Also, it was strong enough to brace against the wind, as I never had any issues with it being blown out. So, when I accidentally left my umbrella at a restaurant, I was completely heartbroken (and couldn't find it again at Target). But I was thrilled that Amazon has it, and recently purchased another one. If you're looking for a durable mini umbrella (one you can carry in your purse), this is the one to buy.

THE BEST!!
Because I have to carry a lot of equipment on the tran and subway for work, I have to make sure anything I add is lightweight so I searched for a lightweight umbrella. This one weighs only six ounces! It is so small it actually fits inside my quite small purse but opens to a full-size umbrella. I show it off all the time, I am so impressed with it, and plan to order more. Haven't actually USED it yet, but I expect it will hold up as well as any other umbrella -- I don't expect it to hold up to major wind, but the ones that would are too heavy and too big. The color is also stunning -- kiwi green, matching my raincoat, but most important is the size and weight.
