Customer Reviews
Larry is JUST PLAIN FUNNY!
A recent "60 Minutes" profile of Larry went almost as far as to infer that if you're a fan of sophisticated humor like Seinfeld or George Carlin or if you're not a redneck born in the heartland or the Bible belt, then you won't understand why Larry is the most popular comedian of this century. Well, I live in a decidedly urban setting (Philadelphia), love Streisand, read The New Yorker, watch Anderson Cooper, find myself agreeing with that "loudmouth" Rosie more often than not, openly support Gay rights, vote Democratic and my politics are as far to the left as I believe humanly possible. Yet I still love Larry!!! To hell with political correctness and what some might consider pandering to the lowest common denominator. Face it, funny is funny and this man makes me laugh like no one else. And the man is the highest grossing comedian in the world for the last 3 years running so I am certainly not alone. How come Jerry Seinfeld can do entire episodes poking fun of the mentally challenged, the physically disabled and filled with toilet humor and it's considered high brow but when Larry does it, it's juvenile? I feel sorry for people who just don't GIT it! I can still cry at the end of "Brokeback Mountain" for a love unfulfilled, speak out for human rights, protest an illegal and immoral war and yet still think Larry is a riot! C'mon People, LIGHTEN UP! The man is making a lot of people out there smile and, in these times, that's what we need more of!
Larry's Back!!!
I got this dvd the other day, and it's even better than Git R Done, which I didn't think was possible. If you like Larry the Cable Guy, you will love this dvd. It is a must own.
Larry the Cable guy
I enjoyed this film. He is funny and is so right on in this day of everyone trying to be so politically correct.
