Many hair styling irons have only one heat setting; not this one—it features 25. Fine hair won’t fry at a too-hot setting, and thick hair gets the heat it needs. This professional quality kit comes with two styling heads that lock onto the ribbed handle: a 3/4-inch thick metal barrel that accepts brush attachments, and a heavy-duty plastic clamp with two 1-by-3-inch ceramic plates that evenly heat and straighten hair. Both heads have thumb levers to hold hair in place. Two brush attachments, one for curls and one for spiraling ringlets, slip onto the metal barrel, providing creative leeway in the styling process. On/off buttons make the device simple to use; a red indicator light flashes until the desired heat level is reached. The heat setting ring turns to any position between 1 and 25, while the locking ring turns to release the styling head, which is pulled straight off. The iron features a six-foot swivel cord for good reach, as well as a built-in counter rest and automatic shutoff for safety. Works for me
I bought this product for the flat iron and I think it was a bargain for having all of those attachments. The flat iron and curling iron work great. It's very easy to switch between them. It takes a little practice to use the spiral curl attachment, but then it's quite easy. It heats fast and the temperature stays where you set it. I like this kit and would recommend it to anyone. It was definitely worth the money.

Conair is wonderful! I mostly just use the standard curling-iron barrle.
I have owned various curling irons in the past, but I noticed that my Health-club has Conairs out where everyone can use them. They often get left on for ages and get lots of use. And they have held up.

This set seems to have about the same base as the ones the health club has. I love the temperature setting part, although I'm never exactly sure what to set it at. I love the fact that this one warms up fast (never get a vidal sasson curling iron, even if it is free).

It was nice to have the other attachments to experiment with, but I just use the regular, standard, curling iron barrel.

This iron is ay. may. zing. It shipped out and arrived really fast, too. My hair is (usually) slightly frizzy and all over the place when it's windy, and my boyfriend has been bothering me to get a cheap, working iron. Well, this is definitely worth the money, especially if it's your first iron. The curling attachment takes some getting used to, but it's as easy as anything once you get the hang of it. Go and get this.
