Very good, but not great.
I tested over 2 dozen lighted magnifying mirrors in various stores. I was impressed the most with the Conair brand. In the store, the mirrors were very bright, but the stores only carried Conair in the 5X version. I ordered the 7X/1X version. The overall quality is excellent. The mirrors are very nice, though not as big as I expected. It also wasn't as bright as in the stores. I changed the two flashlight-type lightbulbs with Krypton bulbs. That made it much better, but I wouldn't mind if it was brighter. That all being said, for $30, it's still an excellent buy.

Nice mirror
The magnification side of this mirror is super. I can see all of those fine lines I need to cover up. I have vanity lights in my bathroom, so I cannot attest to the strength of the lighting. The oval shape is better than round. I ordered 3, one for myself and my two daughters. They live in apartments with tiny bathrooms, and this mirror will not take up as much counterspace as the ones we had before. It is not as heavy and bulky either. For the price, it is a steal.

love my mirror
I love this mirror. Use it every morning to apply my makeup. Works great, good light, perfect amount of mirror space, yet compact enough to tuck away out of sight. Have not had any problems with it whatsoever.
