Writers Fund Bookshop

Books purchased through the Writers Fund Bookshop benefit the Contrary Writers Fund. Contrary is a literary journal founded at the University of Chicago by students and alumni of Chicago’s Master of Arts Program in the Humanities. It now operates independently and not-for-profit on the South Side of Chicago and publishes writers from throughout the world. Contrary endeavors to remain independent of market influences on the literature it chooses to publish. It accepts donations only for its Writers Fund, which is exclusively dedicated to compensating writers for their work.
