Customer Reviews

Take your time placing this on the grill3
Works well, but be careful using on charcoal grills. If you put the thermometer down on the cooking grate just after dumping the coals, and the coals are still super hot, the glass on the thermometer will cloud up a bit.

A fair grill thermometer but not a quick read4
The Outset F810 Grill Surface Thermometer is a fair product it does measure the heat of your grill but it does not adjust quickly if you move it from one location to the next... most likely because of the high heat it must take. It will let you know which part of your grill is the hottest and coldest, but again it takes a while to read the temp. I felt it was pretty accurate if left in one spot. I also used it to read my different temps for different gas settings.

Helps control the temp of the grill5
This really helps to keep control of the grill. I also use it as an indicator when the propane runs out. I use this particularly when cooking ribs where maintaining a low temperature is critical.
