Customer Reviews
great cookware, great price
I think this cookware is a really great alternative to All Clad Stainless. I have three pieces of the Cuisinart Multiclad and they are all comparable to the All Clad in terms of performance. Careful - you have to take care of these pans. Don't put salt in them unless there is boiling liquid or the pans will pit and I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dishwasher. Another comparable line is the Calphalon Tri-Ply.
The reviewer who stated the prices are made up seems to be full of brown him or herself. I looked at the Cuisinart Web Store online and the list prices matched the quoted prices here on Amazon. Check for yourself! Then buy on Amazon where the price is lower.
Great for large saute results
As an addition to our newly renovated kitchen we purchased a set of Cusinart Multiclad Pro Stainless. The addition of the 5 1/2 quart saute pan has already been put to the test with the sauteing of five pounds of onions. The large surface area and the heavy bottom produced an excellent result with even cooking and no burning. We could have spent much more but I doubt we would have achieved any better result. The rest of the set also performs well.
nice even heating
This huge capacity saute pan worked great for my Christmas mushroom soup on an electric stove. Good heat transfer and even heating. Cleans-up is easily too. A nice upgrade from our old Revere Ware. Can't wait to upgrade to a gas stove now!
