This is a really nice version of Jenga.
Both of my 5 year old boys got a Jenga game for Christmas this past year. One got this set and the other got the set that just comes in a box. This is definitely way better because the blocks can be put away nicely in this canister. The box for the other one is flimsy & we've taped it repeatedly already.

As for the game, it's fun & really easy to learn. All of us like it. Every family should have this. None of us are experts yet, but it doesn't matter. The boys like it just as well when the whole tower falls down.

Definitely a good gift for ages 5+. ALL ages would enjoy this.

good storage container in this version
The main thing that differentiates this version from other past versions is that the large bin allows for quick "put away". Other older versions required you to stack them on the V plastic before storing. This one allows you to put them away quickly for those who don't have patience after the game.

Nice concept, fun to play
Jenga is a really addictive game and has no upper limit to the number of people who can play it making it an ideal game-night or party game. This is one game that children and adults can play together, has no learning curve and never gets old or boring. It is surprising that it is not as famous as other games like scrabble or tabboo.

There is ample opportunity to display your skill, judgement and of course, luck in piling up the wood pieces higher at the expense of pieces from lower levels.

Highly recommended for the excitement that it creates when you are able to land a block on a 33 level high wobbly tower.
