Product Description

Is there really such a thing as soul mates? According to Edgar Cayce, yes. But his definition of "soul mates," "twin souls," and "perfect partners" may differ from what you're expecting. For decades, Cayce provided thousands of individuals with insights into the nature of their personal relationships. What is unique about Todeschi's book is that it explores the development of relationships over time, played out within the framework of reincarnation. In addition to discussing soul mate relationships, their connection to the cyclic pattern of reincarnation, and the nature of loneliness, this books looks at the fundamentals of soul attraction and provides contemporary examples of the same principles discussed by Cayce.

From the Back Cover
Twin souls, soul mates, perfect partners -- are these images of the ideal relationship just fantasy, or do they have some basis in truth? Does everyone have one perfect relationship that is waiting to be found, or is a "perfect" relationship something that grows and develops over time? Questions like these were posed to Edgar Cayce, who gave some surprising answers. For decades, Cayce provided thousands of individuals with insights into the nature of their personal relationships and the dynamics of soul attraction. Edgar Cayce on Soul Mates explores case histories from the Cayce files on soul mates, friendships, and family relationships and examines what universal laws are at work to draw individuals together.

Superb book and Very Inspiring5
At the beginning of the book, the author first clears misconceptions related to the term "soul mates" and I fully agree.

A lot of people may look at the term "soul mate" and consider it to be some ideal person who will make one's life perfect, whole and complete, as if by waving a magic wand. Yet, in this book, a "soul mate" is a person who helps the individual to grow spiritually so that he can bring out the wholeness that is already within each person.

The "soul mate" term also implies that one has shared a lifetime or more with another before, that they already know each other on a deeper level. In that respect, one has many soulmates. Ultimately, though, from a spiritual perspective where all is One and all are connected - everyone is everyone else's soul mate.

This book explores different types of soulmate relationships - intimate relationships / marital partners, family members, friends, groups with soul mates joined in the common purpose, and twin souls. Each is illustrated with numerous stories from Edgar Cayce's readings (files).

The distinction between soul mates and twin souls in this book is mainly based upon the purpose of the relationship: while the focus of soul mate relationship is on the individual's spiritual growth, the main purpose of twin soul relationship is a working on a common purpose - a life-work for the benefit of others, which neither could fulfill alone.

The spiritual growth and sharing doesn't involve only the growth of two individuals, but also sharing of a common goal that is bigger than the two individuals; some kind of a contribution to the wellbeing of others, which neither of these people could do alone, so that are put together, so to speak, to create this masterpiece, a contribution for the greater good of all, an aspect of their destiny, they can only do together.

The soul attraction goes beyond attraction on the physical level. Sometimes people are instantly attracted to the particular soulmate, sometimes initially they may not even be all that interested, but certain chain of events eventually opens them up to this inner realization and feeling that they have been together before, a feeling of familiarity with another that goes beyond physical level.

The relationships between soulmates are not always easy and rosy - as a matter of fact, most of the time they have to overcome a lot of challenges and a lot of individual differences and it may take a lot of work. What keeps them together, more than anything else, is this commitment to the higher purpose that is bigger than they are, an undeniable inner knowingness that they are meant to do something together.

An Amazing Eye Opener About How Soul Attraction Works!5
This book had everything in one place! How relationships work. The purpose behind our relationships with one another. Why souls are attracted to us in the first place. How the soul decides on its parents at conception. Even the nature of loneliness was discussed. Throw out your other books on soul mates -- this is a keeper!!!

A light in the storm, this one is amazing.5
I started reading "Edgar Cayce on Soul Mates," thinking that soul mates were one thing. I started reading thinking that I was one thing, and finished it seeing the world differently, seeing my purpose in life differently. Thinking in picking it up that it was about finding true love and being connected deeply to a certain few people, I discovered a deeper truth... one I recognise. It's revelations open up a profound new way to understand myself (what motivates me, why I'm here) and more importantly they reveal a new way to relate to those around me, one where atagonism and isolation have no place.
