Possibly the best book written on Masonry for Masons5
For those that have entered the world of Freemasonry and want to understand more this book should be your guide. Mr Roberts presents a piece of work that will forever be important and remembered within the world of Masonry. If you are not a Mason, this book will give you a wonderful grasp of the fraternity. Every Mason should have a copy of this book as well as the wife or closest relation to that individual. For those that thought the world of Freemasonry was so secret here is a book that will open the world in a new.

Read it not only once, but several times. You'll love it. I know that I did, and I still do. Take it from a man who has read this book more than five times.

Excellent introduction to the craft!5
This book was given to me after I received my EA degree, and has been a valuable learning aid through all of the blue lodge degrees. I believe all EAs in the lodges around here are presented with a copy of this book, which gives one an idea of how highly it is looked upon.

Bro. Roberts was an excellent scholar and author and his books will remain an enjoyable staple of Masonry for generations to come.

Good refence, kind of dry tho4
This book was given to me after I was raised. One of only two books handed out by the lodge, I finished it that very night.

This book does an excellent job explaining some of those rather obscure symbols that you may have happened across. From the EA thru MM, the high points are covered without giving too much away. I leave this one laying out, hoping for people to ask me.
