Not quite what you'd think
I had high hopes for this sandal. Corso Como shoes I've tried in the past are all super-comfy and cushy, and I was excited to have this pair. I also saw an image online of the shoes on someone's feet, which helped, because the straps over the toes are closer to the end of the shoe than you might think, so it was good to see the fit. They're very cute to look at, and they fit fine (the 8.5 worked for me, which is my usual size in most shoes). However, I returned them for 2 reasons. First, the sole of the heel is plastic - the loud-on-wood-floors, slippery kind of plastic. I found that annoying and odd - I expected a non-slip sole. I'm sure they'd be fine if a cobbler replaced the plastic with rubber, but I couldn't justify the extra expense. Second, the ankle strap fit me oddly - if I closed it too snugly, it wasn't comfortable on my ankle when walking, but if too loosely the shoe kind of flopped around when I walked. This might be specific to my feet and ankles, though. All in all, cute shoe that lots of people probably will like if they don't mind the plastic bottom and a probable break-in period for the ankle strap.

Great shoes
I love these shoes. I wanted something chunky and fashionable but without having to wear heels all day. Because of the platform there's only a slight lift between the sole and heel, so you can have the look of heels and a little height without having to suffer. Unlike the previous reviewer, I have no problem with the ankle strap - it fits fine. (Tip: if the holes aren't exactly the size you need a shoe repair guy can bore a new hole for you.)
