Straps...3
We bought this car seat because it is supposedly the safest of economy-line car seats. The straps often get twisted and fold into the buckle part, but this is expected for a cheaper model. However, what has happened with ours is that one of the straps has been getting caught on a tab underneath when trying to adjust them (the tab is supposed to guide the straps and keep them from moving about underneath when adjusting), and has puckered the straps, almost putting a couple holes through. Since I'm sure this is compromising the safety, we are now going to get a different car seat (the well known but more pricey Britax, most likely). (Update: We were able to purchase new straps for a few bucks from Cosco (they would have replaced them if still under warranty) and occasionally use the seat as a spare - the new Britax is naturally easier to use, but also huge!)

Excellant value for money5
I purchased this car seat as my daughter had grown out of her infant seat at 7 months! We used this seat rear facing until she reached a year and now have it forward facing. For the $40 it cost it is a great seat. My daughter falls asleep in it and seems very happy in it when she is awake. It was easy to install both rear and forward facing. The only problem is that one of our straps gets twisted every now and again but its easy to put right. I would recommend this car seat.

Really good for how much we use it4
My parents initially bought this car seat for themselves for when they babysat for us. Since they didn't end up tending as often as they thought, they gave it to us. Our baby, now 20 months old, has been using it since he was 6 mos. We do a lot of driving, and it is actually pretty good, considering it is an economy model. It is really easy to install into both of our cars, and the latch system is really nice when we use our newer vehicle. For our older car, we had to find a restraint locking clip so that the seatbelt would hold it in firmly, but once we got one it has never had a problem with wobbling. The only downside is that while our baby is very tall and large for his age, his legs are still short and stick straight out instead of being able to bend at the knee at the edge of the seat, which could be dangerous if we are ever in an accident. The other problem we had was we couldn't get the cupholder to attach securely, so we didn't ever end up using it. This wasn't a big deal though, as there are already cupholders in the backseat for him to put his sippy in. Overall, this is a great chair, and it's been through a lot of abuse but still works great!
