LEECRAFT Phenolic Inserts and Sheet Stock reduce splintering and chip-out on the bottom side of regular or dado table saw cuts. Simply raise your saw blade through the insert to create a "kerf" which precisely matches the blade on your saw. These 1/2" thick inserts are precision machined from a nearly frictionless melamine faced, high density phenolic laminate.Offer durability and flatness unobtainable from cheaper plastic inserts.Features like top mounted set screws for precise leveling, front/side adjustment screws for perfect side to side and front to rear fit, and a rear safety pin that keeps the rear of the insert in place, make this the best insert we have ever seen.Sheet stock material (1/2" x 11" x 15") is perfect for creating your own custom jigs and fixtures.Craftsman insert measures 14" x 3-3/4" and fits most new, 10" belt drive models. (Check the opening of your Sears saw before ordering). The Powermatic 2000 Blade Insert has a slot for the riving knife. Editorial Reviews
From the Manufacturer
The "zero clearance" concept is simple: The blade cuts its own perfectly sized slot by being raised through a machinable "blank" insert. Leecraft inserts are 1/2-inch-thick, high-density phenolic laminate, with bonded-melamine surface. They offer superior rigidity, flatness, durability, and low friction. User-friendly features include top-accessible leveling screws, lateral adjustment screws for a vibration-free fit, rear anti-lift pin (except JT-1), and a precut-blade bottom pocket that provides clearance for fully retracted blades and bevel cuts. Instructions included. Use carbide-tipped blades only. Fits Craftsman (Sears). Size: 14 by 3-3/4 inches.

Does not fit Ridgid TS2400LS
Does not fit the Ridgid TS2400LS
I ordered these via Amazon after looking at the Leecraft site
to see if they listed my table saw. They did and I found
listed the Ridgid TS2400 that the CR-1 plate was supposed to fit.
Well, it does not. The plate is missing a critical locking tab
but what is worse it lacks the proper thickness to fit the opening
safely. The dimensions match the oblong hole just fine however it is the
thickness and built in offset panel on the plate that I could not work around.
I pondered attempting to modify it but could not see a way to safely
do so. It would be easier to buy blank mats and make my own with a router than fool with that.
Overall the item looks well made but they have incorrect information on their
site regarding this plate and the Ridgid 2400 table saw.
Perhaps there is some difference between 2400 and 2400LS but if that is so they
need to make that clear on their site.
It is for the incorrect description on their site (leecraft) that I rated this a 2.
If I could rate Amazons return policy separate it would be a 5 for their service.
Zero Clearance Insert
I installed this insert in an older Crafstman 10" contractor series table saw. I took about five minutes and it works great. The directions that were provided were easy to follow.
As advertised
If you cut small parts on your tablesaw, you will be pleased with the Leecraft zero clearance table saw insert. The dirrections were clear and it was fairly easy to install. I was able to cut minature railroad ties for my model train layout safely and without pieces dropping down the insert opening on the insert that came with my saw.
