It's not surprising that Joyce Meyer has written a book about never giving up. Having gone through childhood sexual abuse, an abusive first marriage, and a battle with breast cancer, Meyer is the epitome of soldiering on. In this book she outlines a plan for personal success, based upon what she has learned in life. Combining stories of her life experiences, the struggles of others, and much scripture, she describes a positive lifestyle. Narrator Sandra McCollom does a credible job presenting this audiobook. Her clear, distinctive voice and ability to read with expression convey the Meyer's conviction. Further, her deliberate delivery gives the listener time to ponder Meyer's message. I Am So Impressed
I am not in any way a bible-oriented Christian, although I do embrace many aspects of Christianty. I bought this book at Target. It called to me and I took the challenge. I am dealing with my share of wanting to either give up or push through on my goals and have been in a lot of distress. Well, this book, with its inspirational stories and its message that we all experience roadblocks on the way to pursue our dreams (not just me!) is just what I needed. I immediately recognized in a positive way that I definitely have some attitudes in need of adjustment and I feel so inspired by just reading this book and putting some of the ideas into action, that I just know a power greater than myself is always with me and trying to guide me on to my dreams and I am going to reach my goals now. I just have to learn to get out of my own way, do the work, and let things happen. Does not matter how big or small your goal is, whether or not you totally, partly, or minimally embrace Joyce's brand of Christianity, this book is total nourishment for the mind and soul. Even the inspirational stories alone will amaze you. Others have already been inspired by some of the stories from the book I have share with them.

Joyce Meyer's Book "Never Give Up" is her absolute best!
I have been reading Joyce Meyer's books since 1994 and her most recent book, "Never Give Up" is, in my opinion, her best. In the book are examples of many people who have overcome seemingly impossible circumstances.

I believe this book is God-inspired and should be read by everyone.

Never Giving Up!
I have not read anything of Joyce's before, but I have seen her on TV, and I have many friends who have done her Bible Studies. I bought this book for a week long trip to the Dominican Republic, (I love to read at the beach or by the pool). I finished it before the trip was over! It was very easy reading and very inspiring! I encourage anyone who has a hard time letting go of their "failures" in the past to get a hold of this book!
