Not so helpful, and here is why...3
As it advertised, it works. But it sucks to have to permanently adhere velcro strips to the top of your laptop. But in general, most of what makes it hard to see the screen outdoors is the glare and reflection, not the direct sun. So this product really doesn't help too much, just a little, since it is still hard to see the screen with you and everything behind you being reflected back at you.

Works fine on 17" MacBook Pro4
I had a cape I use, but this is nice and compact when shooting indoors.
