Silver Paint
Dont expect the body to be the old all-aluminum pens, these are just silver painted and I assume that it will rub off once it starts rubbing against things.

Parkers are the nicest writing inexpensive pen. I have worn the stainless steel finish through to the brass on several pens and decided to spend a little extra for this one instead of a Jotter. It feels like a solid block of metal. It is very stable and nice and heavy. I was a little worried that the extra weight would tire out my hand but it hasn't bothered my hand in an 8-hour day. It holds the refill securely so there is not a clickity feeling like with a cheap pen.
