From the Manufacturer
The Streamlight ProPolymer 4AA Luxeon Division 2 Flashlight is tough, lightweight, affordable, alkaline battery-powered personal flashlight. This impact and shock resistant Luxeon flashlight runs 4 hours at full intensity with 2 additional hours of declining usable light on 4 AA alkaline batteries (included). The Streamlight ProPolymer 4AA Luxeon Div 2 Flashlight features virtually indestructible polymer with a scratch-resistant face-cap and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. It is also remarkably comfortable to use because it is ergonomically shaped for your hand and offers push-button switching for one-handed operation. Streamlight ProPolymer 4AA Luxeon Div 2 Flashlights offers a wrist lanyard connection. It is 7-inches in length and weighs 7.52 ounces. Available in yellow and black. Customer Reviews

Another great light from Streamlight4
We own several Streamlight flashlights - including several units of the Streamlight 4-AA 7-LED Flashlight, Yellow #68202 flashlight. We love the 7 LED version. The 7 LED flashlight has a great ergonomic design and is easy to use, has great battery life and is bright and useful over short to medium distances. However, at longer distances (25+ yards) the light was so diffused it wasn't useful.

This light, with the Luxeon 1 watt LED, solves that problem. It has the same great ergonomic design but it includes a single LED. The light is bright and useful - it matches many of the best flashlights with xenon bulbs.

This flashlight has a regulated LED which keeps the LED output bright for 4 hours. After 4 hours the output drops significantly and the batteries need to be replaced, so the battery life on this light is much lower than the 7 LED version.

So, if you want a flashlight with a long battery life that is good over short and medium distances get the 7 LED version. If want a light that works great over long distances get this light.

Good light4
This is a very good little light. Not too big to carry around in a toolkit while being bright enough for most uses. Works great on popular and economical rechargeable batteries. Battery life seems to be very good. Narro beam is better for illuminating more distant objects than many other lights in this class. Still enough beam spill to make a good walking light. Not 5 stars because changing batteries is more awkward than it should be.

Brightest flashlight I have owned5
This is simply the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. It is a bit of a "spot" pattern but it's great for longer distances. It's actually too bright to use up close but it's the best for anything beyond 20 feet. Single LED and has a very white light. Since it is so bright, it has a battery life of only 4-6 hours according to the Streamlight web page.
