yay
i'm a packaging hoe. sometimes, cute crafting kits don't work. like halloween vampire teeth that are supposed to mold your teeth. yeah, they don't work, by the way.

but this product has extremely soft yarn, extremely nice needles, and an extremely pretty color (better than the photo).

the only problem is: the instruction manual is a tiny little pamphlet pure engrish. don't try to learn how to knit from it. get someone to teach you--this kit made me feel like the hippest little knitty on the block.

Great for a beginner
This kit had everything, including the instructions. It made it easy for me as this is the first time I've attempted knitting. It was fun!

Great idea but needs a little work...
I've been wanting to pick up knitting as a hobby and thought this item was cute and catchy so thought I'd give it a try.

The packaging is great and the quality of the yarn is very nice. I bought the Black Bean as the color seemed most neutral and I was pleasantly surprised by the softness of the yarn. I was definitely excited to try and eagerly looked for the instruction "manual."

Although directions are included, it can hardly be called a manual. The writing and illustrations are so small that it's extremely difficult to figure out how to actually start the project. I ended up putting aside the flimsy little booklet and looking up instructional videos on youtube.com instead.

The item is very cute and the marketing is a good idea but the instructions need to include larger visuals in order for a beginner to start the project with confidence. Other than that, I'd say this item is a great buy and a gift that many will enjoy.
