GORGEOUS, LYRICAL, PERFECT - BUT MISSING EMMA'S SONG
This is the most beautiful film score ever. THe music so perfectly expresses the action of the movie you can visualize each scene. Rachel Portman is a genius! The only negative associated with this ravishing CD is the lack of the song Emma and Frank Churchill sing at the Cole's party. THis is a highlight of the film and should have been included.
Relaxing, but not boring
I ordered the CD after watching the movie because I liked the song that Emma sang at the piano. It wasn't on the CD and I didn't mind. I LOVE this CD. I especially pop it in if I'm concentrating on a hard project or need to relax a bit or am doing housework. It's really good for all the times! I'm ordering several for gifts. I've already given a few and everyone is overflowing with thanks.
Not knowing music myself, I am so thankful for others who give us so much joy with theirs.
