The greatest show ever. Brilliantly written, tragically real, & mindblowingly intricate. This show cements David Simon in tv's pantheon of writers & the characters feel like real people not actors.

Best acting and cast next to the Wire. Ian McShane delivers the finest performence as the Machiavellian, Al Swearengen. The dialogue is incredibly vulgar, rich and descripitive all at the same time.

Continues right where season 1 left off. Unlike most shows there's an intense feeling of impending doom with each episode. I mean there are only about 40k humans left on the run from a superior enemy.

The most violent & graphic show on tv. Fontana does a great job building a sophisticated and fascinating society within the prison walls.

This innovative & thrill a minute show has become cutlural phenomenom in our post 9/11 world. Seasons 1, 2 & 4 are top notch though 3 slips a bit.

This show gives an amazing portrayal of the inner workings of the White House that is realistic and entertainingly funny. Seasons 1 & 2 are top notch while 3 & 4 tail off a bit. 5 is unwatchable.

This dark dramedy is the only show that has me on the ground bustin a gut laughing in 1 scene then ready to ball my eyes out in the next. Leary is transcendent as the anti-hero Tommy Gavin.

Best described as Lord of the Flies meets the X Files. JJ does an incredible job weaving the background stories of the characters with whats unfolding on the mysterious island.

This season increases in intensity. It focuses more on burden the main characters bear defending their country as we see the 3 main ones forced to leave the service for various reasons.

Season 4 improves from 3 but the writers never re-captured the magic that made the first 2 seasons so great.
