Mr. Braunbeck is a frightening talent. I've seen two of his books through Leisure "Keepers" and "In Silent Graves" but he has some incredible books in the Limited market. I'd love to see "Prodigal Blues" from Cemetery Dance find its way to paperback. "Far Dark Fields" will be the authors next gem fall 2009.

There have been a number of novels from Leisure by Mr. Clark. Check out "Vampyrrhic" and "Stranger" for two fine examples. Like with Ms. Cacek, I would love to see his hard to find story collections see print.

"The Shore" is a sequel to Dunbar's "The Pines", which Leisure just re-released in paperback, this time uncut as the author intended.

I've been a fan of Ray Gartons fiction since the late 1980's. "Live Girls" was just made available again in the last year and you are missing out if you haven't read it yet. The sequel "Night Life" is also available as well as the novel "The Loveliest Dead".

I've only had the pleasure of reading Ms. Giron's "House of Pain" but was amazed at the intensity of her writing. I look forward to her other books from Leisure but would love to see a re-publication of "Eternal Sunset" which was nominated for a Stoker.

It's been awile since I've seen a new Leisure edition of a Rick Hautala novel. "Bedbugs" was a great collection and "The Mountain King" is one of the better "Bigfoot" novels. I'd love to see re-issues of his older works, such as "Little Brothers".

Bloodstone was a fantastic debut novel from a promising new writer many might have missed when it was released in hardcover. His follow up novel, "The Reach", was highly anticipated.

I'm ashamed to admit I've had a few of Mr. Laimo's novels in my collection but just recently read "Atmosphere". Now I can't wait to read his other novels. I would love to see Leisure publish some of his collected short fiction.

Richard Laymon was only available in limited markets and british editions before Leisure. This in itself was a crime. Now there is an impressive amount of titles by Laymon available, most notably the volumes in the Beast House series "The Cellar", "The Beast House", and "The Midnight Tour". The only thing to expect from a Laymon novel is the unexpected. His novel "Flesh" is due in the fall.

Deborah LeBlanc is a master at atmosphere. The expression "lost in a book" must have been coined with her novels in mind. Her characters feel like people I know and the locations breathe with life.

I haven't seen a Leisure book from Elizabeth Massie in quite a few years but hopefully that will change one day soon. If you can find a copy, I recommend "Wire Mesh Mothers" and "Sineater".

He's had some books released in paperback from other publishers but I was first introduced to his work through Leisure. An amazing writer whose paperbacks are becoming harder to find. I recommend anything by him.

I picked up "The Reckoning" at a used book store. Now I buy Ms. Pinborough's novels as soon as they are released. She is a new talent who writes like a veteran. I hope you enjoy her books as well. Look for "Feeding Ground" in late fall.

Miss Sangiovanni's first novel, The Hollower, proved to match the advanced buzz it received. Here's hoping her new book, a sequel, keeps the excitement going.

Mr. Skipp has been a staple in the horror author line-up for quite some time. His collaborations with fellow author Craig Spector in the late 80's early 90's were some of the finest of the time. Mr. Skipp's solo work continues his go for the throat style.

NEW TO LIST! It is fantastic to see Mr. Strand join the leisure stable of authors. It's almost hard for me to categorize Mr. strand as horror because his books are incredibly funny. Then, right in the middle of a laugh, he can grab you by the throat. There needs to be mass market editions of the "Andrew Mayhem" novels.

Another writer with an amazing imagination. I read some of Mr. Waggoner's short fiction in various magazines and was eager to try a novel. I definitely was not disappointed. Highly recommend "Pandora Drive".
