Product Description

With its durable die-cast metal construction, this powerful espresso maker features 15-bar pump pressure for consistently authentic espresso with excellent crema. Its commercial-quality portafilter and group head are made of chrome-plated brass for exceptional durability and brew-temperature stability, while separate quick-heating brewing and frothing boilers provide an optimal brewing temperature and abundant steam for frothing with no wait time between functions. The unit's rotating stainless-steel frothing arm, which swivels horizontally and vertically, provides convenient use, and its hot-water dispenser allows for Americano's, tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like soup or oatmeal. The unit's drip plate, frothing pitcher, filter baskets, cup warmer, and rail are all made of quality stainless steel, and the easy-to-read dial gauges for espresso and steam make the machine simple to use. Other features include a two-liter water reservoir, a drip-free system, a cup warmer, and a "drip tray full" indicator.

No Delay with Double Boilers 4
I have owned this product for over a year and have some good experiences with this heavy weight. It's built like a tank. I am used to commercial machines and this one comes very close to delivering the same crema. It does take a little longer to steam milk, but because of the twin boilers, you can steam milk at the same time as you extract your coffee. When I purchased it, I found the best price at Amazon. Amazon's price was even better than the Kitchenaid website. My other option was to buy a higher priced Gaggia Classic at $599. I chose the twin boilers and a reconditioned machine. Why spend $900 to $600 on a new pump espresso machine when you can buy it reconditioned for $249? I recommend this product at this price point.

Dual pumps/ boilers make this an un-stoppable machine. I have used it constantly without interuption for 11 lattes in a row.

Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Espresso Maker, Empire Red4
I am very pleased with my decision to go with the kitchen aide espresso maker versus other foriegn made high end machines. It was a superb value and initial indications are that it will last me through my lifetime and probably my grandchildrens too. It is very durable and works as adverised. Its the best espresso I have ever had and my wife loves her cappuccino. Most other machines I reviewed were plactic or lightweight stainless steel shelled. This one is very well made and looks good too.
