Classic invisible man masterpiece! Thief breaks into a lab, gets caught by scientists who experiment on him, he escapes and the next thing he knows is invisible. One of the best reads in this genre.

Illustrated version of H.G. Well's Invisible Man. Not sure if it is the complete story or a summary but it is 238 pages which is more than there is in my version of the original story so it could well be the whole story.

Invisible men make a few appearances in this collection of humorous rhyming short stories covering a wide range of horror favourites. Griffin (from H.G. Well's classic tale) has story where he gets a haircut. An invisible man makes a snow angel on the opening credits page, one appears on The Hunchback's milk carton asking Have You Seen This Man? We learn on page 24 to locate them with paint.

This is a collection of invisible man short stories including one of the first known published invisible man stories (1859) by Fitz-James O'Brien called What Was It? That story is also found in a book called Fifty (50) Great American Short Stories (see below). You must remember the old choose your own adventure books from the 80's. Well one was about about two kids who come across a cloak of invisibility while cleaning the attic.

What's a Far Side collection doing on this list you ask? Well the classic Far Side of the father who has obviously just told his son his invisible friend isn't real being held up by his shirt collar by an invisible man and his son saying "Big Bob is tired of you saying he doesn't exist!" is in the original Far Side Gallery.

Maybe not what you’re after but a very good book. Scooby Doo style but minus the dog, two religious kids set off to solve the mystery of a knight (which when it lifts up its armour face visor its invisible), the knight is thieving valuable items to remake its sword and scaring their small town with its claims it will have its vengeance on relatives of those who overthrew its rule in medieval times

Female moose captured by trappers. A male moose infatuated with her is determined to rescue her and bring her back to the woods. Knowing he can't just walk around a city himself or it'll be down to the city animal control for him, he gets an invisibility potion from a wise old owl. I know it's a moose but if I put two invisible dog books in I can't really discriminate against Moose can I?

Classic Australian picture book which children for a few generations have enjoyed about a young girl possum who is turned invisible by her grandma's "Bush Magic" and the search across Australia for the remedy.

Harry Potter style kids book (third in the Children of the Red King series). In this one the younger brother is turned invisible by a blue boa (which is why you can also find this exact same book published under the title The Blue Boa in some markets).
