Simply place the alarm behind any door. If an intruder attempts to open the door, the wedge-shaped design will prevent it from opening and activate a 125 dB alarm. The alarm will scare off the would-be intruder and alert you to the attempted entry. An adjustable sensitivity switch prevents tampering. When traveling, just toss this lightweight unit in your luggage. The on/off switch will prevent the unit from accidentally sounding. Requires one 9 volt battery. Measurements are 5 1/2" x 2" x 1 1/2".

Customer Reviews
Perfect for the Creative Gadgeteer!
I already have three and I just ordered three more. I've never had one fail on me. I actually scared off some burglars who were trying to steal my lawn mower one night. I had mounted the alarm with deck screws to a 4x4 post then ran a black string around the post (and across the trigger/lever) to the lawn mower. When they pulled on the handle of the mower - screeeeeeeam. They really are very loud! (I actually didn't even hear it due to my white noise machine. My neighbor called me.) There are a thousand ways to adapt these devices and make cool indoor and outdoor alarms using dark colored string or light weight wood to increase the step-on-and-trigger surface area. No, they aren't made for outdoor use but who cares. I can get a couple of years use out of it as long as it's protected from rain. I'll be back with a video soon.
Stay away!
This item is of extremely poor quality. I tried it once and it worked fine as a door stop but the alarm immediately stopped working. Might as well bought some chimes and a carve a wood block myself.
