Aspiring dentist
I thought that this book was helpful in pointing out what dental schools are looking for in candidates. I enjoyed the sections on how to interview at dental schools, how to pay for dental school, and info on the application process. I bought this book mainly for help on my personal essay and it was helpful in that aspect.

General information pre-dental students need to know.
Overall a good book for pre-dental advice. No details about specific schools, but it gives a general idea of what you need to do when applying to dental school.

There is some information in this book that you might find helpful if you have other books to fill in the gaps. I found that this book was written with the assumption that the DAT in identical to the MCAT. (IT ISN"T!!!!!) She tells you to study stuff that won't be on the DAT....(e.g physics, discribes the process of testing as though it was also the same as MCAT.)
I wouldn't recommend this book if it is the only book you are going to buy. But if you just want to get an idea of what might be needed, then it will lead you in the general direction.
