Amazon.com Review
The perfect set to kick off a Fiestaware collection, equip a college dorm room, or pair with other Fiestaware pieces for a larger set, this 20-piece set from Fiestaware consists of four 5-piece place settings--a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, cup, and saucer. Celebrated in the 1940s, '50s, and '60s for its streamlined art deco look and colorful glazes, Fiestaware is enjoying a remarkable comeback today. All pieces in this set have the signature Fiestaware rings and match Fiestaware pieces in sunflower yellow or other colors such as turquoise or juniper. With over 50 Fiestaware dinnerware and accessory pieces to choose from, you can build your collection over time starting with this four-person set. The 100 percent lead-free glaze is nonporous, so it won't absorb foods, and it's durable enough to withstand the microwave and dishwasher. Some stainless-steel flatware may leave marks on the plates, but these can be easily removed with a nonabrasive cleanser. --Emily Wolf

Best Dinnerware Ever5
I have owned many dinnerware sets over the years and always get tired of them, before I can break them. I eventually give them away. With Fiesta Ware, I find that I have not gotten tired of it. What is so wonderful, not only is practical for every day use, but as new colors come out and you add to your collection they complement each other and make a wonderfully colorful table whether you are setting a small table or a large group. If you do happen to break any, they can be replaced with any other wonderful color. The large pieces are displayed in my hutch and I get many complements on them. I use them every day as they are so practical as well as prety. Highly recommed.

Beautiful dishes!5
I love these dishes! I just ordered my first set of Fiestaware from Amazon (in Cobalt Blue)& they are great! They have a nice heavy weight & so far have held up to daily use & dishwashing without a hitch. In a home with two small children to boot!

Be warned, however, if any of your dishes arrive chipped or broken, you will have to return the entire set. Luckily, Amazon takes care of the cost of return-shipping.

Make sure you are happy with the quality of the glaze & inspect for bubbles or ripples on the surface, as it does vary.

I do like my set but.....3
I finally purchased my first Fiesta. I choose the cinnabar. I do like how the dishes seem to be able to handle everyday clanging of loading the dishwasher and stacking in the cabinet. I'm not afraid to "handle" my dishes. They do seem tough. However I have only had mine for about 3 months and they are noticeably scratched up from silverware usage. Even my mother-in-law commented on how they looked. Maybe a lighter color would not be so noticeable.
