Is it worth it?
The light it self is everything you want it to be. Works great. I was disappointed with the cost. Especially when I got a catalog showing the same light for almost $40 dollars cheaper. Shop around, it is a very good light. It fit my needs to a "T"

the bracket is a problem
The lamp is of good quality, but the clamp/bracket (as others have mentioned) is sub-par. Yes, the bolt's a bit undersized and the hole for the lamp base is too large. For my purposes, the biggest issue is the lack of a 90deg position for use on desks and shelving with vertical boards for clamping. We had to cannibalize the clamp from my 20-year-old swing lamp to install this new lamp.
