spiritually exhilarating
Everyday I open this Bible I read about something encouraging, consoling,and spiritually uplifting. it is a wonderful source to read about the experiences of Godly women.I have given this book as a present to several relations including my mother and sister. I am presently trying to order more to give to some other friends and relations who have also seen and loved this Bible.

Contemporary language with a focus for women &a daily verse.
You do not have to be a scholar to understand this bible, as it is written in contemporary English and is specifically geared to women. All women. Working/Moms/single etc. Since it is enjoyable reading, it will make a fine and lasting gift for a women friend.

One of my favorites!
This is one of my favorite Bibles. If you're looking to study the Bible in a year, grab this one and off you go! It's very interesting to read the devotionals and then try to apply what was said to your life. I use this Bible as a pick-me-up whenever I've had a rough day. Somehow, I find a devotional that applies to the situation and also, one that highlights what may have happened that day. It's a definite must in today's world, trust me! I've had mine for about 12 years now and need to replace it. It's about worn out!
