The DeWalt DC9096-2 is a 2-pack of 18V XRP Extended Run-Time Batteries that deliver 40% more run time than standard batteries. They are high capacity 2.4 Amp-Hour batteries with new cobalt technology which produces extended run time. The Ni-Cd cells used by DeWalt in the DC9096 offer consistent performance in a wide variety of climates and applications.The DeWalt DC9096-2 batteries are for use with all DeWalt 18V cordless tools.

1 Hour Charger with Automatic Tune-Up Mode - DW9116

The Dewalt DW9116 handles charging duty for 7.2v through the 18v Nicad and NiMH batteries exclusively. Efficiency is the order of the day here exemplified by the wide adaptability to their product line. Its competence is proven on the Dewalt DW9116 and its capability to charge your batteries in just under one hour.

Built from durable injection molded plastic, the DW9116 is vented to expel heat from the higher voltage charges, though gets warm. It is advisable not to charge your batteries indirect sunlight as this dramatically reduces the service life of your charger from overheating. The Dewalt DW9116 has a three stage charging system that charges, tends and trickles a charge to applicable battery packs. In addition, Dewalt provides five point diagnostic capability that keeps the user apprised of the battery status by simply reading the led indicator effected by five blinking patterns of the status led.

IT WORKS - GREAT PRICE
THESE BATTERIES WERE VERY REASONABLY PRICED AS THEY CAME WITH A SPARE CHARGER. WE USE IT WITH OUR DEWALT HAND VAC, WE NOW HAVE 3 BATTERIES. IT'S NICE TO HAVE 2 BATTERIES CHARGING WHILE ONE IS BEING USED IN THE VACUUM. (1 IN THE ORIGINAL CHARGER THAT CAME WITH THE VAC AND 1 IN THIS EXTRA SPARE CHARGER THAT CAME WITH THE BATTERIES.)
