Editorial Reviews

From the Manufacturer
The Welding Station helps hold items while welding them together. Thick aluminum jaws hold the main piece, while the fully adjustable holding arm positions the second piece at any angle desired for welding. The welding station (RK9100) is an add-on accessory for the Rockwell Jawhorse. Both items are sold separately.

Customer Reviews

Heavy but great at what it suppose to do4
I just receive it and I had a chance to use it to cut some 2 inch square tubing. It works great and I'm happy with it.
Is a little heavier than I expected. But it does folds small enough for easy transport or storage.
I knew the accessories were extra but I'm kinda disapointed that Sears sells the Welding Station $20 dollars cheaper (too bad they are out of stock)
I would like to buy it from here but I'm considering waiting for Sears to get additional stock since the price difference is almost a third.
Other than that, I'm happy with it.

Universally jointed arm clamp4
I don't weld, but I do a lot of handyman chores and don't always have a helper. So I bought first the Rockwell RK9000 Jawhorse, which I really love. Then the Rockwell Jawhorse RK9109 Plywood Jaw Accessory Attachment (for really wide stuff), and the log jaws Rockwell Jawhorse RK9101 Log Jaw Accessory Attachment(for use in cutting up that firewood out back.) I debated about this attachment because of the "I don't weld" issue, but the more I thought about it, and used my Jawhorse, the more I wanted yet another clamp to hold things to the thing that is in the Jawhorse main clamp. That's what this gizmo does really well. In addition, if you can't get the Jawhorse in position to clamp the main thing, you can swivel this clamp arm around and use it instead.

Where is this useful? Anywhere you need something to be clamped that will be held up off the floor or table, and possibly clamped in two places (the Jawhorse main clamp and this "C" clamp.)

The other benefit is that this unit comes with some basic aluminum replacement jaws for the rubber pads. You have to remove the rubber pads, because of course if you were welding you'd melt them. But it's pretty fast, just don't lose the screws holding the rubber pads for when you want to switch back.

The jaws are not solid, but I think they'll be ok, they have a lot of reinforcement bracing behind them that is cast into the jaw.

If you also had the table accessory Rockwell Jawhorse RK9204 Work Table Accessory Attachment, you can have the arm on the back of the Jawhorse and use the clamp to hold something over or onto the table. Maneuvering the arm is a little like putting your elbow in your ear but most places above the main frame of the Jawhorse are within reach.

Overall I'd say it was a worthwhile purchase and that it's a nice addition to a very useful clamp, the Jawhorse itself.

Rockwell Jawhorse RK9100 Welding Station Accessory4
As all things made by Rockwell this is a sturdy attachment. It is easy to mount and seems to do every thing I want it to. It is easy to adjust and makes one person welding a lot easier. It seems to be made for holding lighter material, but have not found anything that will match it. I would definetly buy it again.
