Unusable
I have been using the FreeStyle meter for several years, but wanted to try the UltraSmart meter. Don't bother, it requires a pint of blood (yes I exaggerate) but I could only get a reading from 2 out of 10 trys. As I said, don't bother with this meter. This will be money wasted for me, so you won't have to also. I do need another meter, but I will getting another FreeStyle model.

No problem at all.
Easy to use and very helpful showing you how what you eat can affect your blood sugar level. Small and compact, easy to carry around. Over all a great item.

one touch ultra 2
i have used this meter for quite some time and am very pleased with it.. i also own the ascensia breeze 1 & 2. i have never had a problem with the one touch ultra 2. it DOES NOT require a lot of blood at all and i have never wasted any strips with this meter.. the ascensia breeze 1 & 2 are great with the 10 test strip disc but i have wasted numerous test strips where i didnt have enough of a blood sample.. buy the one touch ultra 2, you wont be disappointed...
