Customer Reviews

Should be mandatory for smaller cameras. Such a great little tripod!5
Let's face it. We all like the idea of having great shots with a tripod but we don't want to haul the thing around because it's big, bulky and just obnoxious. And if I'm going out for the night with friends, I'm certainly not going to be lugging around photography gear.

The ModoPocket works pretty well on my Canon Powershot G10 14.7MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. I can leave this thing on my camera without worrying that it's going to bulk up my camera. In fact, the ModoPocket weighs a few ounces, tops - so you'll never notice it. Folded up, it's about the thickness of two SD cards. What's cool is that there's a good degree of tilt so I'm able to get the shots I want. What's also cool is that there's another tripod mount so I can leave the ModoPocket attached and simply screw this into a tripod or monopod. Granted, it probably won't happen that much, but it's still a pretty sweet little addon.

I'm a big fan of Manfrotto products and own more than a few tripods/monopods and other gadgets (including the Manfrotto 585 ModoSteady 3-in-1 Camera/Camcorder Stabilizer and Support System), and even though this is $20 tiny product, I really like it and think that if you own a higher end (but not SLR) camera, you should get this. It'll come in handy.

Neat little gadget for your point-n-shoots.5
I saw this wonderful little item at Henry's Camera while I was in Canada shooting a wedding. What caught my eye was their display which showed me how nice and compact it was, practically fitting perfectly into my camera pouch on my belt WITH THE MODOPOCKET STILL ATTACHED!!! WOW!

It's simple to use, just pull out the point-n-shoot, unfold the tripod, angle it right, set the self-timer feature and join your friends and/or family in the photo.

Wonderfully designed, this item is made of stainless steel metal, and EXTREMELY durable. This camera allowed me to capture images in LOW LIGHT during the wedding reception, at random, while I was using my main DSLR.

My only gripe with the Modopocket is that is was rather pricey. I paid $30 for this little piece of wonder, however, I hope down the road it doesn't wear out from frequent unfolding and re-folding.

Still after a month of owning and using it, I can say, it still makes me glad I got it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!
