Amazon.com Review
A perfect pairing with Corelle's Callaway dinnerware, these matching off-white casserole dishes bear the pattern's signature garland of green ivy around their exterior rims and make lovely and convenient oven-to-table serving vessels. The set includes a large 2-1/2-quart round covered casserole dish for cooking a family-sized baked pasta casserole and a smaller 1-1/2-quart round covered dish for baking a side of corn pudding or sauerkraut with peas. Wide handles on either side of the dishes provide a safe grip for carrying to the table and thick, rolled rims reduce spillage. Made of nonporous, heavy stoneware, the dishes and their lids won't stain or absorb flavors or odors. Additionally, all pieces are safe for the dishwasher and can move among the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer without experiencing any cracking due to temperature changes. The bottoms of these dishes are not completely glazed so cooks should always use a trivet to avoid scratching countertops or dining tables. --Cristina Vaamonde

Practical and Pleasing
I've used these to bake everything from a rump roast to Shepard's pie, and they are fantastic. Nice and thick porcelain meaning no burnt bottoms and a breeze to clean. The large pot will hold a 6lb roast with no problems. The smaller one is perfect for side dishes like green bean casserole or baked beans. Best part is they are pleasing to the eye and make a perfect serving dish...straight from the oven to the table.
Nice..but heavy!
These are sturdy and nice looking bake and serve ware but are very heavy even wihtout any food in them. I guess, they needed to be this way to withstand the temperature of the oven. If you are just looking for some nice looking bowls just for storing and serving, these are not the choice.
However, the price I paid ($15.99) is very good and I don't mind carrying a little heavier serve ware, even though I do not intend to use them in the oven.
Corelle Stonewear Bowls
I was really worried about ordering this product, because my friend who also has a corelle callaway collection hates stonewear. The corelle callaway french whites are not made any longer and I was looking for an affordable way to stylishly entertain within my corelle callaway pattern. I had to try it out for myself. I was worried that stonewear would be heavy and difficult to clean, so I approached my sinkful of new dirty dishes with trepidation. Situation resolved, I see nothing wrong with my stonewear! It really looks great with the callaway pattern and stacks nicely in the cupboard. I love the seamless blend in my pantry between my corelle and stonewear. As for serving, you can go right from the oven to the dinner table to the refridgerator with these versitile serving pieces. Yes, they are a little heavy, but they are a breaze to clean. My friend is not alone in her admiration for the callaway french whites, but I feel that the look of the stonewear is a modern and attractive update for serving pieces. If you are looking at the three piece bowl set you are probably wondering which is better: the casserole set or the bowls. I'll be honest, I do like the look of the casserole set with the handles and lids, but these bowls will serve a much needed function in your cupboard collection. The sizes are REALLY varied. Whatever size you want to serve your food, you will have a bowl to fit it perfectly. The graduated sizes will blend with your two ramekins sitting inside them for easy storage space and more serving options. Easy and breazy to clean. I own two corelle callaway stonewear baking dishes, the mixing bowls, casserole dishes and the ramekins. I recommend all of these. I also have the napkin holder which is cute but not highly recommended. I do not recommend the stonewear salt and pepper shakers, as they break easily and you can't tell one from the other. Go on ebay and find the hunter green and white tupperwear salt and pepper shakers. I also do not recommend the stonewear spoonrest, as it is easily breakable ( if you have a cat who knocks things off the counter). If you are a collector of corelle callaway things, hunter green tupperwear will make you look like a genius. My other favorite corelle coordinates are the soap dish, scour pad holder, corelle serving bowls and serving trays. Happy shopping!
