I recommend this book as a companion to my book, Walt Disney World with Disabilities. It includes opinions from readers and the authors about almost everything. Among other things, I've found that it's a great tool to use when picking restaurants and resorts. It's a favorite of ours and we've been using it for years.

We've recently discovered this guide book, and we like it a lot. One thing this book does particularly well is to describe the attractions in-depth. The photos are beautiful, and we enjoy the love for Disney that comes out in this book.
Walt Disney World® with DisabilitiesWalt Disney World® with Disabilities by Stephen Ashley

A great guide to plan with minor to major health and emotional conditions, special needs and disabilities to plan a safe, comfortable & fun trip. It has the most in-depth descriptions of any book of the physical and emotional "feel" of attractions. It's packed with info on how to handle your health issues at Disney World. It's now updated for 2009.
Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2009Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2009 by Birnbaum Travel Guides
Buy new: $11.53 / Used from: $3.90
This book is the only official Disney guide book. Although they work with other guide book authors and publishers to an extent (as they do with our book), this is the only one they fully participate with. The benefit is that they give Birnbaum's assistance with facts and proofing. The downside is that you won't see info that may appear contrary or negative regarding Disney.
