do not purchase; there is a problem with the pricing.
I ordered the 13 inch ivory platter listed above for $4.99 from Macys. What I got was the tiny fruit bowl; it was ivory though but not what I was expecting. I emailed first the seller then Amazon customer service. Amazon got right back saying "give the seller a few days to answer". Okay; a week goes by and nothing. I email the seller again; again nothing. I email Amazon again and let them know I still have not heard from the seller. Amazon emails me to let me know that I am getting a refund but what about the platter I ordered? I put the bowl in the mail and email the seller again. They finally answer; and this is what they say: "Please accept my apologies but the only Fiestaware item available at the $4.99 price are the small fruit bowls. The dinner plates are $10.99 each when available. A review of your order shows it is for the fruit bowels not the dinner plates. Please use the return mailing label included with your order to make your return if desired. Unfortunately items purchased on macys@amazon cannot be returned to the local Macys stores. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. If you have any further questions or concerns, please e-mail us." I must be so stupid that I ordered a bowl and think I ordered something else entirely. It is listed above; you tell me.

A fruit bowl is not a 13 5/8 inch platter
I had the same problem as the reviewer above. I ordered the platter, got a tiny fruit bowl! Supposedly my credit is coming through today but can't someone, either Amazon or Macy's, make the necessary correction???

Product and pricing mixup
Like others, when I saw the chance to get large platters in the ivory color for only $4.99, I ordered four of them. What a surprise when I unwrapped the well-packed shipment only to discover four miniature bowls inside! They are good quality and a nice size, just not what I ordered.

Edit 9/23/09: I recently received an email from Macy's customer service apologizing for the mixup. I was also given a code for a 15% discount on a future order at [...] which I was able to redeem today by placing an order with an online customer service agent, so I am satisfied with their sincerity in correcting the problem. I see that the price is still suspiciously low for the ivory color platters, which leads me to believe that Macys still has not corrected the original pricing error with Amazon.

Based on Macy's remedial action, I would raise the rating of this transaction to four stars.
