Not for Canon D series cameras
While I like Caselogic very much for their quality products this bag was a disappointment. I wanted a bag I could put my Canon camera in with L series telephoto lenses attached. By looking at the pictures it appears that you can do this easily but Canon cameras don't fit. The camera doesn't fit in the camera shaped depression because of the grip on Canon 20D, 40D, and all other D cameras is longer then the bag allows. With a battery grip it won't fit at all. The long lenses have a tripod ring with a foot and they don't fit in the narrow tube either.

I'm not sure what camera this was designed for but even one that does fit would not have much padding on the back of the camera body when the camera is in place and the bag zipped.

I like the idea just a shame it doesn't fit Canon D's. The other features are great, I like the padded lens holders and the velcro so everything can be moved around easily.

They really should look at more then one camera body when designing a case and make the fit universal. This bag is the perfect size and has lots of great storage compartments but it is not for Canon EOS D's. Too bad.

Better than expected
I had originally ordered a Case Logic messenger bag to carry al my gadgets such as external hard drive, Ipod, etcetera. For reasons not worth mentioning I ended up getting this backpack instead.

I thought it'd be good to keep my camera items stored but initially thought it was way too large for the camera I own (a Sony DSC series) It is larger than the small case in which I used to keep it but it does have many advantages that compensate on that!

When traveling or going out, I was used to carry the camera on its case, the battery charger separately on a suitcase, the tripod on a separate bag and well, you get the picture. With this one I can have all those items stored in a single backpack and carry everything in it. No need to look for the other items and carry them separately, not anymore. And the thing I liked the most, it is customizable. It does have its small compartments and bags as a regular backpack but the insides can be customized to fit your needs. Another great feature is that you don't necessarily need to open the whole backpack to get what you need as it is designed with zippers on the sides for easier access to items stored in it. It has some straps on the sides for you to carry the tripod if needed.

As a plus, the design of the backpack looks cools and the colors look elegant (gray and black) yet casual at the same time.

In the end, I found it to be more practical than expected, whoever designed this definitely did a great job!

Cooler than Your Camera!
Rather than typing the extensive list of cool stuff I fit into this backpack, how neatly it fit, or some long description of the really cool features I will just say - I can't attest for durability as I've only had it a month, but click the link for the video on Case Logic's site - it's every bit as cool in real life. I've always liked Case Logic and this confirms it - genius, sheer genius! So never mind the CEO and the marketing guys, give this design team the BIG bonus! This bag needs NO marketing. And best of all the price was considerably less than some comparable single-strap sling bags which are not nearly as comfy and secure, not to mention COOL! Oh I guess I did mention cool once or twice, huh... :)
