This little case saved the day.
My mom is a lawyer and I gave her this sewing case for Christmas and didn't hear anything about it until the other day. She called and said, "Thank God for that sewing kit - it saved the day." She told me that right before a huge federal trial, a button popped off right in the middle of her blouse, revealing (much to my mother's chagrin) a peek of flesh much too inappropriate for trying criminals. She was soo relieved when she remebered the sewing kit I had given her, and it even had the right color thread to sew the button back on with. Of course, she won her case, but I think the real winner here is me. Finally, my amazing gift giving technique has paid off.
I also bought one for myself in case I am ever in the situation where my pants split open (as they have before) or my hem falls out.

Great travel product
Great for traveling. Because of the neat design it is fun to carry in your luggage and because it does not have a plastic case I am not worried about it getting broken. It comes with plenty of colors of thread. The only thing is that it only came with 2 safety pins, but it had a little holder for them, so I just added a few more.

Very handy
bought this for the office and almost immediately, it was in use. It is light but stylish. The spindles don't have as much thread as I would normally expect, but nonetheless it does it's job. Not a big deal to replenish as you go through the stock it comes with. The excellent layout in such a small space is worth it!
