A must have book for serious students of scientific parapsychology. Getting Started in Parapsychology provides a one-stop shop for people who want to know the best books, websites, journals, and organizations in academic and scientific parapsychology. It starts with a bibliographic essay of English-language books, articles, journals, and websites, with emphases on such topics as the history of the field, modern research methods, seemingly psychic experiences, remote viewing, ghosts and hauntings, reincarnation, the psychology of the psychic, and more. Additional bibliography, a contact list of organizations and research centers, descriptions and contact information for journals and other periodicals, and a selection of terms from Dr. Michael A. Thalbourne's forthcoming glossary are also included.

A good guide
This book is a very good "guide" to have if you want to start with parapsychology. It does not describe what parapsychology is, if you want that then this book is not what you want, but it does have a list of recommended books to read, webpage's to visit, journal to subscribe to, parapsychology foundation you can join and a lot's of more.
A book where you have everything on one place and books that is worth reading (we all know how many parapsychology books there are and how difficult it is to find really good ones).
