The first ones featured a globe in the center to represent earth, but they changed as man's knowledge of the universe expanded.This dramatic brass sundial armillary stands about 17" tall and 10" wide on a polished stone base that measures about 5" in diameter. It consists of 3 brass rings that are approximately 7" in diameter circling a 2" globe with an arrow through the middle that is about 13" long.It is a stunning decor piece to add to any home or office or to a nautical or science collection.
