X-treme is the worst product I have ever seen,!
I found a website ( struggleville.blogs) after buying a x-470 for my son to use to go to work. Many people are suffering buying X-treme garbage.
Like most of you, it was broken and in pieces when I opened the box. We spend 4 hours trying to put it together.
( My son really wanted this)and finally we had to give up, when more and more parts broke, ( the ignition key just turns round and round) the motor casing is cracked, the seat didn't work, ( like the other guy in here, you can't tighten it or get it together) It wouldn't start, the casing on the motor was broke open , exposing the inside to water and whatever, all the lights were cracked, they told us it was a 2007 49cc, and it was a 47cc, huge sticker on the motor, and then ScooterJones, ( DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!) tells me sorry it arrived like that, but we will not take it back!
Thank God for credit card protection and small claims court!!!
Total POS! NEVER NEVER BUY A XTREME ANYTHING, CHEAPLY MADE AND RIP OFF COMPANY, most scooter sellers drop ship it from XTreme, so BUYER BEWARE!
I would like to update my post from Oct.
I won my dispute with my credit card company.
(take lots of photos, and be sure to tell your company you tried to return the POS, but they refuse to take them back!)
Stay on it, if enough people do this, they will have to stop selling them or improve the quality.
Im appalled by how many stories there are like this, think how many just chuck it in the trash, ( where it belongs) and lose 200-300 bucks!
After I won the dispute, I still had the piece of crap, so I took it to a scooter shop and they replaced parts and got it running for 85.00, check out what has happened since then! ( they had to install a new starter, luggage rack, and other things) keep in mind, this is brand new, out of the box.
It has never run more then 2 days in a row, without breaking down!!
I have taken it back 8 times in 3 weeks, 8 times!
1. The coil went out. ( after one use)
2. Pull start broke apart
3. Seat broke
4. floorboard cracked in 2
5. Pull start broke again fly wheel was stripped smooth
6. Starter broke
7. Bad battery replaced
8. It is in there now, the entire thing stopped working and the key bent, and my son just wants to get rid of it now, it has been a nightmare.

The only reason I keep trying to fix it, is because I have spend about 150 so far, and I got all my 279.00 back from the dispute.
After this, Im ready to just let it go.
Here is a little footnote, Scooter Jones ( where I bought it from) had the gall to ask me to send it back after I won the dispute!!
which took 8 weeks by the way because no one from Scooter Jones or Xtreme would respond to my credit cards inquires.
They emailed me a shipping label, and said, we will refund your money!
What a joke. Hey losers, my credit card already protected me from rip offs like you and Xtreme scooter co.
I HATE these people and I really HATE Xtreme scooters, they are complete rip offs and shysters who should be put out of business or in jail.
Never Never buy anything from them or the Xtreme name.
