Works, but that Sleeve is Frustrating
Briefly, it seems to do the job at reasonable speed, but that "protective" sleeve is worthless. It is supposed to slide over the metal connector portion to protect it. This would be a good idea if there was a good indent to keep it in place. It would be a great idea if you could "lock" it into place. Instead, it simply slides down at the slightest touch and your drive is completely unprotected.
Also no loop for a keychain, if you care.
In short, I think there are better drives. The best part of this is drive is that Amazon seems to be offering it without the plastic package for low cost, but only good if you're not going to transport it beyond your desk (see above).
It's OK
Issue #1. The white cover over the USB plug is weak and jams sometimes.
Issue #2. Transfer rates for a 1.3 GIG zip file ends up at 10.4 MBs speeds.
I have a USB2 external 1TB drive that moves that 1.3 GIG file at 26 MBs.
For the price this flash drive is "OK".
I like it
As a flash drive it is compact and does its job well. It is attractive and feels sturdy, yet lightweight. My only complaint is that it was hard to find a lanyard that would allow me to put this on my keychain.
