The Debutante Rock Candy Guitar
All Debutante guitars feature a thin, slim neck design, and are constructed from lightweight materials, and this Rock Candy model is best for ages 10 and older. The slim neck profile makes for easier playing for players with smaller hands, and the lighter weight means it won't overpower those with a small build. Another great feature is the contour in the body design, which is extremely comfy and lies perfectly across your body. The guitar also features a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22-1/2-inch scale with inlay dots, chrome tuner and simple 1-knob control.

Customer Reviews
Very nice Guitar, quality is questionable.
I purchased this guitar for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. On the second day she touched it, the guitar string came out. It simply just broke right off. She started crying and was instantly disappointed because she felt she'd broken the guitar. I did not see her pull it or apply any excessive force. She simply attempted to strung the guitar, and out popped a string, just like it was never fastened or secured in the device.
The guitar is very well packaged, and the color is magnificent. It comes with a very nice case, and the amplifier system is very attractive. All so cool and impressive for an 8 year old who loves music. But, frankly, to have the guitar string break on day 2 is shocking!! The box has been ripped to shreds as children generally do on christmas, so returning it is probably not an option at this point. So, I will have to spend money to fix the string, and possibly tighten the rest of the strings so this doesnt happen again.
Buyer beware, product is very beautiful and nicely packaged. But the quality of the strings is very very questionable. I could have had a defective product, which is entirely possible. But, for some reason I just think the strings are not made very well.
