Rotating Light
Well, you get what you pay for. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing though. This light was extremely cheap but it still does work well. It's plenty bright in a dark room and it worked great for my purposes. The only thing that should be mentioned is that it is loud. You can't here it if the music is on though. Also, shipping was very quick.
Well you get what you pay for
First thing to remember I guess is that these guys aren't that expensive so if you are looking for a cheap rotating flashing light for a party or to put in your dashboard to pretend you are a cop pursuing someone in a high speed chase then this is it. As described the big issue is really how noisy they are. I tend to think most folks exaggerate sometimes in reviews, but wow these things are loud. If you are going to be in the same room with them you will need some music at a pretty high volume to drown this out. It sounds like a dying mule got caught in some kind of factory machine. Other than the noise it's a great product. Make sure to have some extra batteries as they can chew through them pretty quickly.
Sort of functional
The tag line for this could read, "You get what you pay for." The light shines, while a mirror inside grinds in circles around it for a flashing effect. I needed a flashing light for a notification system (i.e. the door is closed, but not locked). It worked perfectly for my needs, with the addition of an audible alarm as the sucker is LOUD. Grrriiind griiind...
Again, it looks and feels fairly cheap, but it worked quite well for my needs.
