Soft & Snuggly
I got this taggies blanket for my little guy who LOVED chewing on the tags on everything (toys, blankets, washcloths, etc...)when he was about 4 months old. I thought that he would love having so many tags to choose from! As it turns out, he found the actual tag and liked it best. Ah, well... Now that he's just over a year old, he is starting to use it to snuggle with, and he plays with the tags as he's falling asleep. We don't take it out of his crib - it is his special snuggly when he gets there, though it is the perfect size for taking along if you want to.

The blanket is made of a thick fleece that is very soft. Mine has a cute puppy and sunshine checkered print on one side, and is plain blue on the other side. It is machine washable, and even after many washings it has not faded or gotten pilled. The blanket has different kinds of ribbon "tags" all around the edge offering different textures for baby to explore. I would highly recommend this product based on durability, craftsmanship, and creative use of ribbon! Also, this price is a pretty good one - I paid a lot more for mine!

One warning to potential buyers - this is the SMALL blanket(check the dimensions!). Don't expect to be able to use it as an actual blanket - it is really more of a lovey or snuggly for baby. If you want a blanket to cover baby with, keep looking!

Unique & Loved Gift
My daughter who is now 2 1/2 received a taggie from her Aunt in Chicago. I had never seen it before, but I instantly thought it to be a great idea. My daughter did not fall in love with it right away, but I always kept it in her crib. Now every time she gets in or out of her crib she must have Taggie, Elmo, Bear... in that order. She used it when she was teething, she used it to play peek-a-boo and she used it as comfort. My son came 14 months after her and I made sure I bought one for him. Now at 1 he is starting to fall in love with his. So not only is this a unique gift, but it is a gift that most children will cherish.

A MUST HAVE
My third child received a little Taggie for a gift and has loved it since she was several months old. At 21 months now, she still uses it to got to sleep. She sticks a finger from each hand into 2 favorite tags. She looks for the specific tages she loves. It's really cute and soft and easy to wash. If your child ends up loving one, you might get a second one in case the first is ever lost or dirty. Highly recommended product!
