Customer Reviews

With or without - It doesn't make any difference1
I purchased this filter to user with my SONY camcorder DRC-HC90. I expected similar results (or at least ANY results!) as usual in my other photo equipment (Nikon F75, Fuji) I mean: more contrast, clearer picture just as promised in SONY filter commercials. Nothing of these ! Just forget it. This filter does not make any difference. The picture stays the same, in some aspects I found it to disturb color hue, making it more violet.
The most unfair fact is that on the filter original container SONY displays two pictures: one without filter and second one with this filter - miraculously much better. It is a complete lie. Effect shown in this picture was not a real one, but probably magnified during computer editing.

This was just a BIG disappointment. I returned filter immediately to the dealer. This filter is just a waste of money. Do not even try to use it with HC90 camcorder. The tests were performed in Florida, US.

Not that bad...4
If nothing else you get a neutral for protection and you get a polarized that may or may not work well, but is only $17. I thought it was worth it.

Sort'a works4
The Lenes work on the factory lens only with no feature to add additional lens. It works as advertized, I would have like to add the wide/tell lens to the filter for better out door videoing.
