Dont buy this item if you are expecting the same quality as the corelle dishware.
It is cheap, heavy, fragle stoneware! I can find nowhere that amazon tells the customer this.

Pretty but not really "ramekins"
These are relatively nice small stoneware bowls that coordinate well with the "Simple Lines" design. But they are not ramekins: on arrival, I found that they are considered (by the maker) unusable for microwave or oven use. Ramekins are commonly made to survive high temperatures, as many of the dishes calling for ramekins involve some baking or torching.

I'm not sure why they didn't just sell them as "small bowls" instead, and avoid the obvious disappointments.

I imagine I could risk using them in the oven or microwave, since they are stoneware, but it's disappointing that they probably won't stand for normal use as ramekins. I suppose if I ate a lot of ice cream or berries, I'd be happier with the purchase since I'd have more use out of them.
