The Marriage Has Ended…the Rest of Life Begins
A Comprehensive Workbook To Help Get You Started
In his book, New Life After Divorce, Bill Butterworth writes: “When life doesn’t turn out the way we planned, there is a danger we will give up the hope that life will ever be pleasant again. All of us have had those feelings at some point along our life’s journey. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Good news is on the way!”
In spite of how you feel or the challenging circumstances you face now, the truth for every divorce survivor is that with God’s help and your desire and effort, better days are ahead.
In this comprehensive workbook, you will find both reflective content and practical insight to guide your healing and find restoration. Ideal for individual and group study, this eight-session workbook covers these topics and more:
·Grieving the loss–and moving on
·Drawing on God’s grace and power
·Avoiding stagnation and embracing change
·Connecting with friends for support and accountability
·Knowing where to find wisdom and counsel
·Forgiving your “ex”–and yourself
·Parenting with effectiveness and grace
·Knowing when, how, and who to date
·Holding on to hope
Whether you are recently divorced, have a friend who is newly single again, or face an opportunity to counsel someone whose marriage is ending, the New Life after Divorce Workbook provides the tools needed to build new dreams from the rubble of a devastating experience.

Customer Reviews
Excellent Resource
My wife and I had 6 people who wanted help after divorce. We finally found this material and feel it offered real practical help for those who are wanting to regain their footing after divorce.
Mr. Butterworth gives great advise by using stories, examples and "face the facts in your own situation." In the small group we had, this approach translated into 6 out of 6 people making very postive changes and letting go of some negative behaviors and thinking.
We also used the book that was reccomended with this study and it was helpful to pull everything together with the workbook.
I would highly reccomend this study and the book that goes with it. Both were simple to read and understand. We researched other material and none seemed to have the "I've been there and here's what helped me" tone. The few others that are out there for already divorced and hurting people seemed very clinical to us. We were thrilled to find this material, and after using it, it proved to be the right choice for the people in our group.
More religious oriented than practical
Too much "turn your problems over to God," too little practical steps to take to deal with the grieving of divorce and get on with one's life. But...my mistake. I was looking for a workbook for a client to use to supplement therapy. This is obviously not that.
